MOVPE Nanostructure Group
The main objective of this Research Group is to carry out intensive research on formation of compound semiconductor nanostructures and their high-density arrays by utilizing metalorganic vapor-phase epitaxial (MOVPE) growth, which is one of the basic and the most versatile mass-producing technology for compound semiconductor devices and circuits in the present IT era. Based on this fabrication technology, the Research Group is also carrying out intensive research to explore physical properties of high-density nanostructure arrays and their applications to novel electronic and photonic devices, thereby contributing to the mostly demanded progress in the information science and technology from the material and hardware side.
