| "Research Center for
Integrated Quantum Electronics (RCIQE)" has been founded in April,
2001, in order to continue and expand research activities successfully carried
out in the previous Research Center for Interface Quantum Electronics (RCIQE)
for 10 years from April 1991. Based on achievements of the former RCIQE
on "understanding", "control", and "device applications" of
nanostructure interfaces of semiconductors, the new RCIQE will carry out
intensive and focused advanced research on integrated quantum nanoelectronics
for another specified duration period of 10 years. This novel electronics
will become a core technology for multi-media society of the 21st century. |
